Cynnydd Project – ESF to support young people at risk of becoming NEET

Short description

CCW-Training Academy has been awarded the above contract as preferred provider with a proven track record of working with young people aged 16-24. We offer a range of outcomes and accreditations that will assist the learners in their future personal and social development. The wide range of interventions offered are aimed at reducing identified young person’s risk of becoming NEET.

The project will operate across the six local authority areas of Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Swansea, Neath Port Talbot and Powys.

CCW-Training Academy have been successful in the two Lots as shown below:

Lot No: 3Employability Support & work readiness activities – Age 16- 24 only, for the NPT and Powys areas

Description of the procurement

Employability skills programme to better prepare participants for work; including job search skills, research into potential employment pathways, CV preparation and job application completion, development of interview skills and mock interviews.

Lot No: 6Employer Engagement activities – Age 16- 24 only, for the NPT and Powys areas.

Description of the procurement

To facilitate direct employer links with participants. Employer mentoring support to participants. Employer visits, both into schools/FE Colleges or into the workplace, entrepreneurial role models
