European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) & ITQ Qualifications
Our ECDL courses focus on a wide range of Microsoft practical application. Our class room base teaching modules have been designed for candidate/s at beginners, intermediate and advance levels. Open to all candidates with or without any experience in using these packages. These ECDL courses offer competence and confidence in using this range of versatile business tools. Our classes are run on a monthly basis and in order to maintain quality training, a small group of a maximum 5 candidates per class are encouraged. Our tutor will then have more quality teaching and tutorial time for each candidate. On successfully completing and passing the ECDL examinations, candidate will receive both the ECDL and ITQ qualifications.
Our innovative tutor taught 'fast-track' ECDL programme gives us flexibility to help candidates with different learning speed to adapt and progress to gaining the ECDL/ITQ qualifications as quickily as possible. Depending on the module/s and candidate's computing skills our ECDL programmes can be completed between 5 and 10 days. All our training are taught based and delivered in a relax classroom environment with a maximum of 4 candidates per training session.
Aim: To offer all candidates the chance to strengthen their IT skills and attain ECDL/ITQ qualifications. We offer taught classroom training session by experience and qualified tutors.
What is ECDL - Essentials?
ECDL - Essentials, consist of Level 1 ITQ units covering the fundamentals of IT use. It is an excellent introduction to the world of IT, with units covering the fundamentals of using IT. It is particularly focus on the first steps in using a computer, explanations of the internet and email and how they can be used safely and productively.
What is ECDL - Extra?
ECDL - Extra, is the ITQ Level 2/ITQ Certificate in IT User skills.
It builds on the learners initial experience and basic knowledge and improves their understanding of computer applications including word-processing, spreadsheets and presentation software. Although ECDL Extra is a fixed combination, the achievement can be used towards a flexible level 2 diploma or as credit transfer towards higher level ITQ qualification such as a Level 3 certificate or diploma.
What is ECDL - Advanced?
This is the Level 3, ITQ Certificate in IT User skills. The aim of the qualification is to recognise the application of a range of IT user skills and knowledge in the workplace, meeting employer workforce demands. Learners typically register for one unit at a time, completing their studies in "bite-size chunks". Although ECDL Advanced is a fixed combination qualification, the achievement can be used as credit transfer towards a flexible level 3 ITQ diploma.
Who should attend?
This ECDL Module/s is useful for all professionals and non-professionals. This NVQ award is via the British Computer Society (BCS). It is also suitable for candidates seeking to strengthen their Microsoft Office skills or to seek opportunity to change career. The ECDL award is recognised world wide.
When?
We run weekly Microsoft Office Suite training courses and monthly ECDL courses. Evening Wednesday class (6.30pm to 9.30pm) and Saturday morning classes (9am to 12.00pm), subject to enrolment numbers.
