DESCRIPTION:ILM Level 2 Award in Leadership and Team Skills – Management Training in Wales\n\n\n\nThe ILM Level 2 Leadership and Team Skills Training is an entry level qualification for anyone with management responsibilities but no formal qualification. It is also useful for anyone hoping to progress into a management position but who have not yet formalised their understanding with any training. It will benefit anyone with a management or supervisory position. \nIn this course we will look into what makes a manager good or bad and assist those with an interest in the course in investigating how we can avoid the mistakes of the manager we worked with previously and see what made the good managers we have worked with make us smile or make our day. \nFor training dates\, have a look at our calendar – CLICK HERE \nOur training is held at 5-7 Museum Place\, Cardiff\, CF10 3BD\, however if you’re unable to come to location we also offer our training through Zoom. This is high quality tutor lead training but from your home or workplace. The difference in between these 2 is the number of modules required to sit and pass before gaining the certification. The Award is the shortest version of the Level 2 qualification. \nWho Should Attend\nThis program supports practicing team leader/s seeking to move to the next level of management and managers who need to lead people through; organisational change\, budget cuts or for personal development. \nILM Level 2 Leadership and Team Skills Training Content\nThe Award variant of the Level 2 qualification covers: \n\nLeading Your Work Team\nMethods of Communicating in the Workplace\n\nThe Certificate variant of the Level 2 qualification will cover the above 2 modules\, alongside the below modules: \n\nMeeting Customer Needs\nSetting Team Objectives in the Workplace\nUnderstanding Training and Coaching\nUnderstanding Leadership\nSolving Problems and Making Decisions\n\nLearning Outcomes\nBy the end of the course learners will be able to: \n\nExplain and understand the difference between leadership styles\nUnderstand leadership qualities and be able to review your own leadership potential\nExceeding the needs of your customers\nUsing different techniques to keep your customers happy\nHow to solve problems quickly and efficiently\nHow to communicate properly in your workplace\nSet objectives that are both challenging and achievable\n\nCourse Format\nTo complete this Award course you will be required to undertake 2 modules. For the Certificate you would be required to undertake 8 modules. The Award will take 2 days of training alongside an optional assignment tutorial day. The Certificate will take a couple of weeks to complete which will be 6 days of training alongside an optional assignment tutorial day. \nThere is an assignment to be completed per module. For the Award this means there would be 2 assignments to complete.
