RPCuk LogoCCW is proud to be the first Welsh training provider to deliver Primavera 6 training in Wales.CCW working in collaboration with Oracle University and RPCuk to deliver this innovative industry essential course. Primavera P6 is a project portfolio management software designed to help project-intensive organisations manage their operations by providing complex and detailed graphical and informational data about the project being managed. It can be used to manage, plan, prioritise and choose the level of project investment. It is fast becoming an industry standard with upward of 40% of large construction firms using Primavera.

Many industries are using this software or are switching to using Primavera, including Rail, Oil and Gas, manufacturing, Airbus, Health authorities, large contractors and construction consultants. This course leads participants through the entire project life cycle, from planning to execution. Topics include; adding activities, assigning resources, and creating a baseline. Participants also gain a thorough background in the concepts of planning and scheduling. All workshops and instructions stress the three basic elements of project management: schedule, resources and costs. At the end of each day, students apply the concepts and functionality they learned in a case study. The course is divided into three sections: Creating a Project; Scheduling the Project; Project Execution and Control.

Who Should Attend

You should have a working knowledge of windows and an understanding of project management or planning is desirable for this course. However there are no prerequisite learning objectives for this course but you are expected to have a good level of computer literacy to successfully use the tool.
