Our training is held at 5-7 Museum Place, Cardiff, CF10 3BD, however if you’re unable to come to location we also offer our training through Zoom. Award / Certificate / Diploma:

The Level 3 qualification comes in 3 variations, there’s the Award , the Certificate and the Diploma. The difference in between these 3 is the number of modules required to sit and pass before gaining the certification. The Award is the shortest version of the Level 3 qualification.

Who is this Qualification For?

The Level 3 Award in Leadership and Management in Wales is ideal for individuals who have management responsibilities but no formal training and are serious about developing their abilities.

ILM Level 3 Leadership and Management in Wales Course Modules

For the ILM Level 3 Award, you would need to complete 2 of the below 3 modules:

• Understanding Leadership
• Solving Problems and Making Decisions
• Managing Workplace Projects

To complete the Certificate you would need to complete at least 2 of the modules above + the below modules:

• Understanding Recruitment and Selection of New Staff
• Understanding Training and Coaching in the Workplace
• Understanding Health and Safety in the Workplace
• Understanding Marketing for Managers

Course Format

• Duration: 2 days of training + optional assignment tutorial day
• Assessment: 2 written assignments (one per module)
• Support: Email, phone, and tutorial guidance included

We also offer the ILM Level 3 Certificate, which includes additional modules for a more comprehensive leadership qualification.

Assignments

It is recommended that for each assignment, you should plan to spend approximately 7 hours researching your workplace context, preparing for and writing or presenting the outcomes. The ‘nominal’ word count for each assignment is 1200 words: the suggested range is between 1000 and 1400 words per assignment.
