AutoCAD Professional Skills
AutoCAD Professional Skills Training is a 5‑day intensive, hands‑on course designed to take learners from beginner through intermediate level, with an introduction to 3D AutoCAD tools used in professional drafting and design. This programme is delivered in small classes of around 5–6 learners, ensuring personalised guidance, direct access to an industry professional, and plenty of time to ask questions and receive tailored support.
Throughout the course, you will build practical 2D drafting, technical drawing, layer management, annotation, and plotting skills, progressing into intermediate workflows and a structured introduction to 3D modelling. To reinforce learning, you will receive practical homework tasks after each session, ideal for developing confidence and real‑world competency.
We run our course at 5-7 Museum Place, Cardiff, CF10 3BD, however if you can’t come to Cardiff we can also offer the course through Zoom. We also offer the training at your venue if you have a minimum number of candidates.

This AutoCAD Professional Skills course is delivered as a 5‑day intensive training programme (09:30AM to 16:30PM), designed to give every learner focused, hands‑on experience with industry‑standard drafting and design techniques.
Rather than relying on formal exams, the course emphasises practical skill development. After each training session, you will receive structured homework tasks that reinforce your learning, helping you build genuine competency in 2D drafting, intermediate workflows, and introductory 3D AutoCAD tools.
All costs are fully transparent. There are no hidden fees, your training includes refreshments, high‑quality learning materials, registration, and all associated course resources. Everything is provided to ensure you can focus entirely on developing strong, professional AutoCAD skills.
