This programme will give you a sound foundation on which to build your managerial career.

Management Training

This management training course is recognised by ILM. This is an excellent fast-track course. It is a 1-day course but covers a great deal of subjects and develops experience and knowledge in the area of management. This course will show them the basics of management and help them to avoid the errors that managers across the sector make far too often. This course has been ideal for people who have not managed before or who have just begun their career as a manager. Our recognised ILM management training will teach them how to develop the techniques to start properly organising your team and yourself.

Who Should Attend

This course has been created for managers who need the basic management techniques or a refresher course. You do not need any experience or qualifications to be on this course.

Course Content

This course will cover the following 4 key skills in management:

  • Communicate – both ‘hear and be heard’
  • Motivate – Understand the concept of motivation
  • Develop – Develop yourself and your team
  • Inspire – Understand how to inspire motivation and commitment from your team members

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the course learners will be able to:

  • Identify the motivating factors in the workplace which affect you and your teams.
  • Develop your team through the use of effective delegation techniques.
  • Communicate effectively through the application of assertive techniques.
  • Inspire your team by identifying and communicating your vision.

Course Format

This course is a 2-day short course. It will give you a whirlwind tour of management and prepare them for their position as a manager. This course will enable them to obtain an ILM recognised management course and to enhance on their CPD.
