ReAct ll Funding and Training Opportunity

(Redundancy Training in Wales)

ReAct ll - Redundancy Scheme is a programme of funding for training provided by the Welsh Assembly Government and WEFO for people living in Wales who are facing redundancy, or have already been made redundant in the last 6 months.

ReAct ll funding initiative providing financial support packages designed to help individuals to gain new skills, overcome obstacles and improve their chances of returning to work in the shortest time possible. If you have been made redundant in the last six months or are currently under redundancy notice. Please read on for further information.

ReAct ll - Funding for Redundant People

If you need to retrain and gain vital skills to help you to find a new job the Welsh Assembly Government can offer you a discretionary Vocational Training award and pay 100% of your training fees (up to a maximum of £1,500 as from the 1st April 2011). Additional funding to help towards extra costs associated with training such as travel, accomodation, chailcare or books. This award is for training that takes place while you are under notice of redundancy or after you have been made redundant and before you start a new job.

ReAct ll Funding for your New Employer

ReAct Funding is also a 'carrot' for your new employer. As an added incentive for taking you on a further contribution of £3,000 towards the cost of you wages. By saving a potential new employer thousands of pounds as subside towards your wages, you have an even better chance of finding a new job.

Once you have visited your Careers Wales Advisor to discuss the ReAct ll funding process, or contact us and make an appointment. We'll spend time with you and review your individual situation to draw up a training plan to suite your personal need. Our advisor are professional and you have no obligation to commit to our training. We will have to convince you to train with us.
